About Me

My photo
Jennifer
Hi and welcome to my glass studio blog! I have been making glass beads for a few years now in my home studio, and love to turn these miniture works of art into original jewelry. I work with Italian and German glass rods; melting them in a high temperature torch flame to create the beads. I often add silver leaf and foil extra sparkle, and to produce some amazing colour reactions. All of my beads are handmade and properly kiln annealed for strength and durability. This is an addictive hobby with limitless possibilities in terms of colour, shape and design! If you see something you like please email me at magic_rats@hotmail.com. I would love to create a one of a kind set of beads for you!
