New Earrings!

I just love these and am making a matching necklace. These gorgeous glass cubes are made with topaz and grass green, iris amber green reduction frit, and encased in clear. The earwires are a on the large size--but I think it shows off the glass beads quite nicely.

Its been my mantra today. Time to stop thinking about doing things (like updating this blog...) and get moving. I always find the weeks after Christmas difficult, the post holiday blahs. You know how it is--Winter is definitely here and cold as heck, January seems endless, and the driveway is always full of ice and there never seems to be any salt when you need it most.
But its all good now. I have received my new glass. Yup. Pounds of glass in gorgeous new colours just waiting to be melted into lovely little beads:

Lots of great colours including some CIM glass(Creation is Messy) which looks good enough to eat; I think Celadon and Leaky Pen will be my new favourites. I can't wait to post some more pictures of what I've been making--I will take some pictures soon!
