Jennifer: Hi and welcome to my glass studio blog! I have been making glass beads for a few years now in my home studio, and love to turn these miniture works of art into original jewelry. I work with Italian and German glass rods; melting them in a high temperature torch flame to create the beads. I often add silver leaf and foil extra sparkle, and to produce some amazing colour reactions. All of my beads are handmade and properly kiln annealed for strength and durability.
